  1. headlamp/flashlight (extra batteries)
  2. sun protection (sunglasses,sunscreen,hat)
  3. first aid
  4. pocket knife
  5. toothbrush and tooth paste
  6. note book and pen
  7. 3 pairs hiking socks
  8. 5 pairs underwear
  9. 3 pairs t-shirts
  10. 1 long sleeve shirt
  11. 1 pair of pants (loose, light fabric, no jeans)
  12. 1 pair of shorts (loose, light fabric, no jeans)
  13. wool or fleece jacket
  14. rain jacket
  15. footwear (water shoes, sneakers, hiking boots)
  16. bandanna
  17. fleece or wool hat
  18. towel
NO COTTON!!!!!!!

Same rules apply for backing safety as they do for hiking.
